Lisa Creighton Hendricks
Lisa Creighton Hendricks was appointed to the Council in 2009 and had been on the Planning Commission for 9 years.  She is the current President of the Belinder Elementary PTA.  Lisa practiced law for 13 years in Kansas City focusing on utility regulation, representing clients before the Kansas and Missouri Public Utility Commissions. She also worked in Bonn at the German Telecommunications Ministry and Deutsche Telekom.  Lisa has an undergraduate and a master’s degree in political science from Kansas State University.  Lisa served 8 years in the Kansas Army National Guard, receiving a commission and leaving the military as a 1st Lieutenant.  Lisa and her husband Randall have lived in Mission Hills for 13 years.  They have three children.  Lisa’s goal is to ensure that Mission Hills remains an economically sound, uniquely beautiful, good home community by: (1) maintaining the tax base and keeping taxes low, (2) offering excellence in city services, and (3) encouraging redevelopment consistent with the character and history of our community.
