As a legislative body, the City Council is responsible for the enactment of local laws, the adoption of the annual City Budget and Capital Improvement Program, and the review and adoption of proposed policies, regulations, agreements, contracts and other City business items.

The City Council generally meets on the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. Any person wishing to address the City Council on any matter, whether or not it appears on the agenda, may request to do so under the visitors portion of the agenda. Individuals are encouraged to contact the City Administrator or Mayor in advance.
