Fellow Residents:
I hope you all enjoyed a beautiful Spring weekend in Mission Hills. Walking several times this weekend with bulbs blooming, strollers along almost every street and children on bicycles everywhere was cathartic!
Three updates as the weekend ends and we near April 1st. Tonight’s updates further emphasize why we need as many residents as possible signed up for E-News alerts at the City’s website – www.missionhillsks.gov!
- Governor Kelly signed a state-wide Stay-at-Home Order Saturday, March 28th. It lasts three weeks until April 19thand supersedes all local orders (although it is materially identical to all local orders issued thus far):
- The Johnson County Commission will be holding a special meeting on Monday, March 30th at 3pm to discuss testing protocols and the impact of the Governor’s state-wide order. Details can be found here:
- I penned a City-wide postal letter Friday. It should arrive in your mailbox Monday or Tuesday, March 30th or 31st. But as I noted above, it will already be out-of-date on several topics. I would appreciate your help.
- Please think of three residents you know who might not be signed up for E-News updates and forward them this email. Encourage them to sign up at the link below for E-News updates – events are moving too fast for our other forms of communication! Thank you.

Thank you. Be safe and healthy.
