Caroline Moran joined the City Council in 2026 after co-establishing the Community Engagement Committee with Megan Winters in 2019. Together, they organized a variety of events for the residents of Mission Hills, starting with the inaugural concert in the park in 2019. Today, this initiative has expanded to include six events each year. Caroline's goal has always been to foster connections among neighbors in the community's beautiful parks.
A lifelong resident of Mission Hills, Caroline lives with her husband and their three children. She worked as an Account Manager at Lockton Companies for a decade before stepping back from her career to focus on her family after the youngest son was born. In addition to her role on the City Council, she is an active member of the board for Raising Hope, a charitable organization that supports small nonprofits in the Kansas City area. Caroline also dedicates her time to volunteering at Belinder Elementary School, where she serves on the Executive Board.
